How to Learn tables 2 to 20 easily?
Here are some ways to learn tables 2 to 20 easily and in a fun way. Follow these tips consistently to get the results.
Identify Patterns in Tables
Not for every, but for some tables, we have some easy and memorable patterns that we can remember easily. Some of them are:
- 2’s table: Numbers double (2, 4, 6, 8…). You just have to double or add 2 to every next number, like 2+2=4, 4+2=6, 6+2=8 and so on.
- 5’s table: Ends in 0 or 5 (5, 10, 15…). In the 5 table, every number just ends with either 5 or 0 in an alternate. Interesting, right?
- 10’s table: Just add 0 to the number (10, 20, 30…). One of the easiest tables ever, just add 0 in the last and in the first place 1,2,3,4… like 10,20,30. Simple!
- 11’s table (up to 9): Repeat the digit (11, 22, 33…). In 11’s table, up to 9th place, you just have to repeat the digit; if it’s for 2nd place, just write 22; if it’s for 3rd place, then simply write 33. Easy, peasy!
Use Multiplication Charts
Use a multiplication chart, take out the printout and always keep the printout with yourself; revise it regularly or simply paste the printout on the wall.
By pasting the printout on the wall, you can quickly glance at it anytime, helping you revise the tables effortlessly and strengthen your memory over time.
Write & Repeat
Write after learning – Writing helps the brain store information better, making it easier to recall tables quickly and accurately. ✍️📖 Try writing each table three times a day and challenge yourself to do it faster each time!
Say it aloud while writing – This boosts memory recall! Turn it into a fun chant, song, or speed challenge to make learning exciting! 🎶
5-Minute Daily Revision
Revise one tricky table daily– your brain processes it better overnight!
Challenge yourself – Try recalling tables in random order, like 4×7, 6×9, 8×5.
Reward! Reward! Reward!
After a lot of hard work, the rewarding time finally comes; you can reward yourself with your favourite thing or activity, like grabbing your favourite treat, sticking a shiny star on your chart, taking a fun break, or celebrating with a high-five!
